Alya

Alya is a gown of clean lines and deliberate restraint: a corset bodice on fine spaghetti straps, cut in satin and shaped by vertical panel seams. The softly scooped neckline sits wide across the bust. At the waist the seam releases into a full A-line skirt with a high slit to the upper thigh and a long, wide train.

Over it goes the Alya top: sheer tulle with a high collar, long sleeves and softly built shoulders. Fine strands of pearls hang in deep swags across the chest and run the whole length of the sleeves. It fastens with a row of small pearl buttons down the back and stops at the waist.

Layered under the pearl top the same silhouette turns ceremonial - one dress, two looks, one decision made on the morning of the wedding.
