The Michelle gown is built on two strong ideas: a sculpted corset and wide sleeves edged in ostrich feathers. Over it goes a lace bolero, available separately. It has a high stand collar finished with fine eyelash lace and fastened with covered buttons at the nape, a keyhole opening across the front, and a deep open back that leaves the shoulder blades bare. Narrow to the elbow, the bolero sleeves flare into wide bells, and each hem carries a broad band of long ostrich feathers that sweeps down over the skirt and moves with every step. Beneath the lace sits a strapless corset with a sweetheart neckline that dips to a deep V at the centre front, its slim vertical bones left exposed over sheer floral lace so the structure reads as decoration rather than support. The skirt itself is full and A-line, cut from floral lace and falling into a long train.
